It was a wild, windy May evening when I got together with Stu and Katie on the beachfront for their Brighton engagement shoot. Both Stu and Katie live and work in the Brighton area so it was seemed a good idea to go for a little stroll along the beach. We checked out the Brighton Bandstand and had a load of fun playing around in front of the graffiti walls on the beachfront.
Their photoshoot catchup was actually very timely as their Sussex Wedding would be exactly one year away, to the day….so it gave Stu and Katie a chance to relax in front of the lens and all of us to have a bit of a laugh in the wind! The light was awesome as the sun dipped below the horizon – the golden hour was beautifully golden! Combined with the wild sea it was very romantic (except for me being there clicking away – I guess!)
Katie and Stu are a gorgeous couple, great to photograph and very chilled. They were keen to give anything a go…including standing perilously close to the stormy surf, posing like they were on board the Titanic and also time for plenty of cuddles! Katie took the blustery wind in her stride and looked simply stunning in the pix. I can’t wait for next year and their wedding. Have a look at their fun Brighton engagement shoot…
