Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding in awesome Warehouse and Lighthouse

“Liza thank you so much they’re absolutely incredible, we can’t describe how happy we are with them…”

Melissa & Matt

Fabulous Vistas and Love all around

It has taken me an age to blog this wedding and I am way behind but I loved shooting this wedding so much I don’t care! My was my first time shooting a Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding and it couldn’t have been for a cuter or more genuine couple than Melissa and Matt. What a fab day. Old warehouses, old Lighthouses and the river as a backdrop. The couple were super keen for loads of candids and fun pix. Nice!

So fabulous people! Buckle up for the genuine goodness that was Melissa’s and Matt’s Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding – a day oozing with real love against the jaw-dropping backdrop of the Thames River. Loads of raw moments, real stuff. Captured through my lens on this gorgeous day overlooking the Thames! 📸💖

The Ceremony at Trinity Buoy Wharf

First up getting ready shots at their Hackney apartment. Then onto Trinity Buoy Wharf where Melissa and Matt said their “I dos” with the river’s breathtaking views and the O2 as the backdrop. These were quite tricky to photograph in such harsh backlight but I was super happy with the results. We were lucky we had two ceremonies in one. First the civil ceremony with registrar and then their own more heart felt, personal ceremony led by their Master of Ceremonies Bryony. The second ceremony contained some beautiful readings – Everything I know about love – Dolly Alderton  and I like you- Sandol Stoddard . There was a group Sing-a-long to Hey Jude one of my fave Beatle songs and one of my favourite hymns How Great Thou Art, so I was very happy and touched photographing this ceremony.

Confetti and group pix followed with drinks reception overlooking the O2.

Strolling Around: Urban Vibes and Shipping Containers for Couple Pics

We took a casual stroll, and had abit of fun against the backdrop of converted shipping containers and moored boats at Trinity Buoy Wharf. Some great colours and backgrounds for me and time to catch their breath for Matt and Melissa. As usual couple the pix are a great time away from all the guests just for 20 mins or so and to just spend some time together. Our quiet little walk around the wharf offered some down-to-earth spots for couple pics. Before heading back to the drinks reception overlooking the Thames.

Warehouse Simplicity: Trinity Buoy Wharf’s Relaxed Wedding Space

Now, the warehouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf – it was just right. The relaxed, laid-back wedding vibes felt genuine in this space. From the views overlooking the Thames to the subtle nautical charm, Trinity Buoy Wharf provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding. I always love the juxtiposition of glam v grungy warehouse vibe.

Dancing the night away to awesome live band sounds.
