Gorgeous rural settings through out the day…
Eastbourne Wedding Ceremony
What a fab day I had second shooting for Emma May at this gorgeous Sussex wedding. I met the boys early on the Saturday morning where they were tucking into a hearty pub breakfast. After some shots of the lads completing their finishing touches and button holes we jumped in the cars and headed to Eastbourne for some more pre wedding refreshments in yet another gorgeous Eastbourne pub next to the church.
This wedding was great cos even though there was abit of driving to be done between pub to pub to Church to venue it was all well and truly worth it! I don’t think I have ever before photographed such a lovely range of settings for each separate part of the day.
Rustic Restored Barn Reception
Wow the country estate was mind blowing. Two beautifully decorated enormous barns set in the rolling South Downs of Sussex with a gorgeous terrace with breathtaking views over the Downs. This rustic and rural setting was also beautifully romantic.
I love shooting the pre wedding reception drinks at weddings, and sometimes the only opportunity I get to do this for a decent spell is when I am second shooting. These shoots are great because everyone is still buzzing from the actual wedding ceremony itself. Friends and family are catching up for what may be the first time in ages and I guess this all makes for some great reactions and moments for me to photograph. These guys wedding pre reception drinks were held on a stunning terrace overlooking these gorgeous South Downs views. The still gorgeous summer temperatures and late afternoon light certainly added to the happy fun atmosphere Very cool jazz sounds and tasty canapes also kept the guests very happy!
Side spitting speeches, delicious food and an amazing band were the highlights for me.
