Gay London Wedding

What a hoot at Jules and Kim’s fab wedding celebration.  Lovely ceremony overlooking the well manicured gardens at Langtons House and an epic garden party.  What more could a girl want for!

“OH LIZA THEY ARE AMAZING! BETTER THEN WE IMAGINED! WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE!  EXPECT SOME ORDERS COMING IN, WE’RE PHONING EACH FAMILY MEMBER THAT WE’VE FORWARDED LINK TO SO WE CAN HEAR THEIR REACTIONS !   WE THINK YOU’RE JUST THE BEST. THANK YOU AGAIN XXXXXXXXX”

When Jules and Kim first got in touch with me about their Gay London Wedding in Romford, I was really chuffed – they were planning the most relaxed outdoor garden wedding celebration with a beautiful ceremony at Langtons House, followed by a Garden Party at Home.  I was excited chatting to Jules and Kim about their wedding and I couldn’t wait to shoot it.

The Ceremony

I started the day at the beautiful Langtons House in Hornchurch, Essex.  It is super close to the M25 and Central London. Langtons House is a lovely 18th Century Manor House surrounded by stunning gardens and lake.   The couple decided to arrive separately with their own entourages!  It was so chilled out and relaxed with the girls nearest and dearest with them.   The ceremony itself was held in the elegant West Room with its warm golden feel overlooking the gardens.  It was a heartfelt ceremony with tears and beautiful music.  The girls made their exit and everyone had fun with the confetti which also made for some fab shots.

The Couple Portraits

It was a beautifully sunny day, and we were in such a lovely setting with plenty of gorgeous backdrops and scenes to shoot around.  This was perfect for photos! While the guests headed back to the house for bubbles and nibbles, we wandered around the beautiful Langtons House Gardens taking our time with the couples’s portraits.  My favourite photo from our couples session is the ones of the girls telling me what they loved and admired so much about each other. it had me tearing up as well. These two were totally loved up – and it was gorgeous to see and photograph.

The Party

The girls had wanted a low key, fun celebration of their wedding after the ceremony and what better place to do it than at home!  The garden was beautifully decorated and had some lovely touches with balloons, bunting and fairy lights.

The homemade bar, which went down a storm. The dress up props made for some great fun and pix as well. After the meal they had some wonderful speeches, then the couple cut their wedding cake and everyone hit the dance floor.  I didn’t stay all night but the party was well and truly started by the time I left.

Thanks for having me at your big day girls, you both looked amazing and what a lovely bunch of friends and family who made me feel soooooo welcome.  What a gorgeous day for you both to remember forever.
