Brighton Beach Party Wedding Dress Ruined By Champ and Hero!

“Hey Liza! thank you so much for our photos – they are beautiful! Thank you so much for being part of our special day. Liza took the pictures at our Wedding and she was an absolute treasure! She made sure we got beautiful pictures of us and our guests and was fabulous to deal with. Would definitely recommend”!

Jenni & Jack

Brighton Beach Party Wedding to include dogs

When the lovely Jenni and Jack gave me their brief for their wedding it was short and sweet “we want a relaxed, Brighton beach party to include our dogs Champ and Hero. Kind of like a party with a wedding tacked on!” In fact they predicted that the dogs would provide ample entertainment for guests as they weren’t the best behaved furbabies around.

Poor old Champ and Hero also had a bit to live down as they had already ruined Jenni’s first wedding dress by knocking a cup of tea over it in the lead up to the wedding!

Postponed Wedding

Jenni and Jack from Nottingham chose Brighton as their number 1 place to get married. Jenni had spent many summers there as a child visiting her aunty for summer holidays. The couple had been waiting a long time for their wedding. They had already had to change their date by a whole year because of that pesky COVID. So the plan was basically to get all their friends and family to come down from up north, spend abit of time in Brighton and have a chilled out mini bar crawl for their Brighton Beach Party wedding. Sounds pretty perfect to me.

Brighton Bandstand Ceremony

Jenni and Jack, their guests plus an excited Champ and Hero all met for the start of the festivities at the Brighton Bandstand. The Bandstand is such a perfect setting for a relaxed wedding and looked stunning with the sea as the backdrop. Whispy white clouds and beautiful blue sky framed the background. Brighton Beach front was just buzzing and everyone looked so happy! Hero and Champ were chomping at the bit and super excited to get started! They looked very smart in their matching bow ties and collars and had very important roles for the day. Champ the Labrador was the Ring Bearer and Hero the French Bulldog the flower girl!

Jenni and Jack looked amazing as well! Fabulous style and very chuffed that their big day had finally come around.

The doggos literally dragged Jenni and Jack up the aisle and it was game on.

Brighton Beach Party Wedding Group Photo

Jenni and Jack weren’t keen on having loads of group photos but were keen for one big whole group pic which we organised at the end of ceremony. Then the guests were sent off on their merry way to the first port of call – The Brighton Beach Club. Meanwhile I hung with Jenni and Jack for a bit and we got some lovely relaxed couple pix on the beachfront and the Bandstand and then we trotted off to join the others who were well under way at the Brighton Beach Club.

After some epic and emotional speeches and a few more drinks it was time to head off to OhSo Social for more drinks and delicious morsels.

I took my leave as the Brighton Beach Party Wedding was getting well underway at OhSo Social which is that groovy outdoor bar that overlooks the Palace Pier.

Wow. What a fabulous wedding day. Lovely couple, the cutest pooches and lovely friends and family. Thank you very much Jenni and Jack for asking me to be your Brighton Beach Wedding Party Photographer. You both rock in a totally Brighton way!
